Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a Staff Accountant to join a growing commercial property management/real estate firm based in Raleigh. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants to play a key part in maintaining accurate financial operations across a diverse property portfolio. Reporting directly to the Controller, this full-time, salaried position supports day-to-day accounting functions and partners closely with Asset Managers and Property Managers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for multiple properties
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform reconciliations, including credit card and other balance sheet accounts
• Maintain organized and accurate supporting documentation
• Prepare financial schedules and reports for external CPAs, investors, and internal stakeholders
• Assist with budget vs. actual analysis and year-end reconciliations (TI/CAM)
• Contribute to special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience with QuickBooks required
• Experience with AppFolio or similar property management/accounting software preferred
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
