Job Description

Salary: $70,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:

  • We require a bachelors degree, or an associates degree plus 2 additional years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus 4 additional years of related experience.
  • We require Epic Cadance certification.
  • We require Epic Referrals certification.
  • We look for a minimum of 3 years of experience supporting and/or implementing Epic Cadance and Referral applications, including builds and configurations in those modules.
  • We need experience with operational workflows, advanced troubleshooting, system analysis, integrations, and end-user support.
  • We value experience presenting technical concepts to stakeholders and training end users.
  • We prefer 5 or more years of Epic Cadance and Referral support and build experience.
  • We prefer experience in hospital revenue cycle, patient scheduling, finance/billing, or other healthcare operations areas.
  • We prefer prior experience as an Epic super-user or in a healthcare operational environment.
  • We view Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification as an advantage.
  • We also value additional ancillary Epic certifications.
Responsibilities:
  • We serve as a senior subject matter expert for Epic applications, workflows, integrations, and operational processes.
  • We independently lead Epic design, configuration, testing, implementation, optimization, and support for complex initiatives and system integrations.
  • We partner with operational and technical stakeholders to review workflows, identify root causes, recommend solutions, and drive system improvements.
  • We troubleshoot complex tickets, enhancements, integrations, and cross-functional system issues.
  • We perform advanced Epic builds, customizations, and configuration changes, including security updates, order sets, templates, scheduling logic, provider setup, and integrated workflows.
  • We coordinate third-party and internal application integrations to ensure reliable interoperability and functionality.
  • We support system upgrades, release activities, integrated testing, maintenance, and prioritization of enhancements.
  • We communicate project progress, risks, milestones, and recommendations to leadership, operational teams, and end users.
  • We assist with user training, create training materials, and guide super users and operational leaders.
  • We mentor junior analysts and share best practices for operations and project delivery.
  • We participate in ongoing professional development through Epic training, certifications, conferences, and industry forums.
