Job Title:Laundry Attendant

Department:Accommodations

Position Summary:Laundry Attendantsareresponsibleformaintainingthe laundry operationsata boarding school and sports training destinationlocatedon a 400-acre area campus.

Position Responsibilities.

• Perform a variety oflaundry relatedactivities such aswashing drying and folding garments and linens

• Ensure laundry is completedaccording tothe companysestablished schedules and standards

• Responsible for theday-to-daypick-up and delivery of laundryacross campus

• Maintainlaundrylogs andotherdocumentation to tracklaundrycompleted

• Operate washing machines and dryers according to instructionsand safety protocols

• Perform routinemaintenanceand cleaning oflaundry machines to ensureoptimalperformance

• Regularlymonitorlaundrysupply levelsand equipment to ensure proper usage andreplacement

• Reportany maintenance concerns or repairs neededtotheappropriate personnel

• Ensurethe laundryfacilityiscleanandorganizedat all times

• Handle guest requests related tolaundryservicesor special requestsin a professional manner

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations and continually enhance the campus experience

Knowledge Skills and Ability

• High school graduate or equivalent

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsrequired

• Customer-oriented and friendly

• Effectivetime managementskills

• Abilityto work efficiently and with minimal supervision

• Basic knowledge of laundry operations and equipment

Preferred Skills

• Bilingual Spanish & English

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to lift carry movepushand pull equipment or boxes up to 50lbs

• Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift

• Ability to bend stoop squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and inspection tasks

• Ability to handle outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time.

• Ability to work on various indoor and outdoor surfaces including grass turf courts all weather

• Requires manual dexterity to use andoperateall necessary equipment.

• Requires the use of stairs on a consistent basis

• Must be able tooperateoffice equipment such as computers

• Ability toworkflexible hours including days nightsweekendsand holidays as needed
