Job Description

Openwork is currently assisting a local client in their search to for an Industrial Cleaner job in Union, SC. As an industrial cleaner, you will be responsible for cleaning building floors by sweeping, mopping and vacuuming.

 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming.
  • Wipe down, dust, and de-grease production equipment.
  • Maintain housekeeping equipment in proper working condition.
  • Empty all waste containers daily.
  • Identify and communicate hazards using proper signage (e.g., wet floor signs)


Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Good communication skills with management and co-workers.
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push/pull, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to safely climb ladders and stairs.
  • Previous housekeeping or industrial cleaning experience is a plus.

Great contract to hire opportunity on 1st shift from 7:00am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday paying $15/hr
